Step into the shoes of a racing driver during a buggy race on ice! This driving course on ice, organized by the Nomad Driving Event teams, includes 2h15 of test driving and a 2h15 race (6-hour activity). These are friendly and convivial races supervised by BPJEPSQ qualified instructors. Try driving on ice to experience a thrilling buggy race on the Flaine ice circuit, in Haute-Savoie.

After having formed a team of 2 to 4 drivers, you will get behind the wheel of a RZR 1000 buggy. And you are off! You will challenge your opponents and try and win a friendly race on the circuit de Flaine, the largest ice circuit in France! Behind the wheel of a very manoevrable buggy equipped with 4-wheel drive and studded tyres, you will have the chance to discover the joys of driving on ice…

Taking part in a buggy race is an ideal activity for a company seminar or a moment with friends who are car driving enthusiasts. This course is also a perfect birthday gift to offer to motorsports fans and thrill-seeking enthusiasts!

This driving course on ice is suitable for all car racing enthusiasts and does not require you to be an experienced driver.

Race programme

• Welcome, coffee then briefing in groups on safety instructions and race regulations
• Distribution of helmets ( bring suitable clothing for the weather conditions : the buggies are open vehicles)
• Timed test sessions (duration: 2h15) then team race (duration: 2h15) behind the wheel of a RZR Trail S 1000 Premium buggy, all identical and prepared for driving on ice (1 RZR buggy / team – 8 RZR buggies on the track at the same time all equipped with studded tyres, 4-wheel drive and wide tracks).
• Podium and glass of champagne
• Optional: Personalised coaching with a driving instructor during the test session (300€). Possibility to share the driving Instructor with several teams – personalised video of your team (on request)

The circuit de Flaine

Located in Haute-Savoie, 1h from Annecy, the ice circuit de Flaine is the largest ice circuit in France with its icy and snowy 1.3km track surrounded by pine trees.

Thanks to it being at 1600m in the heart of the Alps, the circuit benefits from ideal weather conditions for a driving course on ice from December to February.

Participation conditions

• Activity reserved for groups (minimum 2 people to make a team). Event for individuals or companies ( from 2 to 32 participants)
• Be in possession of a current driving licence valid on the day of the course
• Do not present any medical contraindication to the practice of motorsports
• Accept and sign the race regulations and the liability waiver (see below)
• Leave a deposit cheque of 900€ / driver (not cashed, except in the event of material damage)
• In the event of cancellation of the activity due to weather conditions, the reservation will be postponed to a later date, but no refund will be given. In this case, any costs occurred by the customer (transport, accommodation…) will not be covered by SARL Driving Event: It is therefore strongly recommended to take out insurance or cancellable reservations for your additional costs.
