The concept of our Trackdays

Come and drive your car on the Ladoux circuit (Michelin tracks) at Clermont Ferrand during one of our track days that we want to be both exclusive and qualitative by limiting the number of enrolments to 40 cars. According to the day you have chosen, you can enjoy driving on the wet track all day or the dry track in the morning (2.7km), and the wet track in the afternoon ( “the duck”), both with a limited number of vehicles.

We have been organising these Trackdays for several years now. Every year we organize about 50 Trackdays on some of the most beautiful circuits in France: Charade, Magny-Cours, Le Mans, Le Castellet, Dijon-Prenois, Nogaro, Val de Vienne, Le Mas du Clos, etc…

Safety and quality of driving are our main priorities:

  • We attach particular attention to the compliance of the safety regulations on the track. Drivers who are responsible for dangerous driving will be cautioned and if necessary banned from driving on the circuit.
  • We limit the number of drivers on the track in order to provide optimum driving conditions.
  • We limit the number of enrolments in order to maximize driving time with an open pit lane.

The Ladoux circuit and its specificities

Throughout the year Michelin carries out tests on its tyres on these tracks. There are 21 different tracks. For our Trackdays, Michelin opens the doors of its test centre to allow you to drive your car with  different options; on the dry track in the morning and the wet track in the afternoon. You will have the opportunity to drive on two of the tracks at the Ladoux circuit, one is 2.7 km long with a total of 12 corners, while the other is 2.3km long with 14 corners. The first track is a dry asphalt track which is homologated by the International Automobile Federation of Formula 1. The surface is extremely smooth which allows peaks at very high speeds. Finesse is required to negociate the corners…which are numerous  and whose radii range from 30 to 240 metres! The second track which is open on the Ladoux site, the shortest, is the wet track. It is equipped with an automatic watering system, great drifts guaranteed.
